Download this free overview now of the basic principles of designed experiments, containing the most common designs for comparative and screening experiments.
Design of Experiments (DOE) is a structured approach to experimentation that provides the following benefits:
· Accept several input variables or factors
· Identify the significant factors from many
· Establish a model for the response variable
· Determine the optimum level of each factor
A progression of designed experiments will be used to systematically identify the significant factors from a listing of potential process inputs, create a mathematical model from process inputs to the desired process output, and find ideal process settings to optimize the process output.
