As Principal Consultant and a co-founder for Business Improvement Group, Anthony brings over twenty years of experience in various roles in Technical Services, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Applications Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Quality Engineering. His experience extends across multiple industries, including Medical Device Manufacturing, Original Equipment Manufacturing and Fiber Optics. He has a proven track record of nearly ten years in Structured Problem Solving and Project Management.
Mr. Carra provides consulting services to drive Quality and Operational Excellence within client organizations and provides training and coaching services to develop staff to support the demanding needs for businesses to remain competitive.
He is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Mr. Carra holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and is currently enrolled in the Penn State Master of Statistics program, with an expected December 2016 graduation. Additionally, he holds ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and PMI Project Management Professional credentials.
As a co-founder for Business Improvement Group, David focuses on business development and client management for the company. He has been involved in the interactive services industry for over twenty years. At America Online, he participated in the development and launch of a number of innovative online products and programs for the pioneering Internet service.
At AOL Time Warner, he directed strategic alliances for Fortune 100 clients like Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Apple, Sun Microsystems, Google and JPMorgan Chase. As part of his accomplishments there, he received an AOL Inventor Award. He also worked with global consulting firm Sapient Interactive to launch their marketing services practice, as they grew to become the top independent digital agency in the U.S.
In addition to Electrical Engineering coursework at Virginia Tech, he has a Bachelor’s in Media Production and Engineering from Berklee College. David also holds an ASQ Certified Green Belt Credential, and is preparing to sit for his Black Belt exam in 2017.
